Baptized into club land at the tender age of 22, Leon found his first adventures into DJ land at the legendary city of Bangalore’s club scene, playing alongside the likes of DJ Sean and some of the biggest names in the industry, this wasn’t short lived though, as he soon found himself championing tracks on the smoother audio train of deep
& soulful house.
After the usual slog of hard work in and around the local bars and clubs Of Bangalore, he had built a strong local following, but Leon’s first big break came with the one of Bangalore’s most popular hotspots, HiNT. After a nationwide competition, Leon found himself at second place in the finals. This led to gigs at Goa, Delhi and Hyderabad Including a plethora of gigs in Bangalore plus a guest DJ in various Clubs. He was also signed by Red Bull as their official Disco Jockey and did regular gigs for them at various clubs around the country.
Leon has also done regular gigs for Submerge (India’s biggest electronic dance music forum) and has done regular gigs at Fuga which has seen artists like Sander Van Doorn, Axwell, Arno cost & Norman Doray and so on performas well. He has also played alongside The Jalabee Cartel, Nikhil Chinapa, Pearl, Nawed, Ivan and
International Dj’s Aldrin (Zouk-Singapore), Bruno (Brazil)DanBooth,Protocult
Rob B (Dubai) at TDS (Hyderabad) and Tantra (Calcutta) to name a few.

Dv8 is a DJ project born in sunny California in 2007. Through attending outdoor gatherings in forests and deserts, along with the rave scene in LA, he was opened up to a whole new world of sounds. After DJing for endless hours at house parties in LA, he moved back to India in 2010 with a focus to promote proper underground and non-popular dance music wherever he plays. Sounds ranging from Techno, Tech-House, Deep House, Nu-Disco and Minimal can be heard during his sets.
