LOS AMIGOS, India’s premier Latin Jazz quartet made its international debut at the Java Jazz Festival in Jakarta on the 4th of March, 2011. It was followed by another performance at the same festival on the 6th of March. The performances were well received and highly appreciated by both the audience and the musicians. Los Amigos got to interact and spend time with some of the world’s legendary Latin musicians at the festival. Some of them were Carlos Santana’s band and Juan de Marcos and the Afro-Cuban All Stars. Also other legends and stars at the festival were Roy Hargrove, Joey DeFrancesco, George Duke, Dennis Chambers, Steve Smith, Eric Marienthal and many more. It was a great time of learning and enjoying and living in the land of music from morning till next morning and again everyday!
