A standup comedy night with the Kalkutta Komedians as well as special guests, Kolkata’s ‘King of Comedy’ Mir and Delhi’s Rajneesh Kapoor. A night of laughs and tears (of laughter).
KALKUTTA KOMEDIANS are Kolkata’s finest English standup comedy group, not least because they are Kolkata’s only English standup comedy group.
MIR is Bengal’s ‘King of Comedy’, winner of numerous national and local awards as a radio jockey and TV anchor, as well as a movie star. Mir is also the lead vocalist of a band called Bandage.
RAJNEESH KAPOOR is a Delhi based Stand Up Comedian, comic strip maker and has published two books. He performs clean and intelligent comedy; that is, an act which has funny and original ideas instead of pointless mimicry or cheap sexual jokes. Last year Times of India rated him as one of the top ten comics in India. He has performed for Embassies, ICICI, DuPont, Lipton, MediaNAMA, Fuji Film, Boston Consultancy Group, Auto Bild India, Business Aircraft Operators Association, Hindustan Unilever Ltd and other Private Limited Companies and has done over 100 shows at the prestigious London Chain, the Comedy Store.
