Bangalore’s legendary duo Live in Kolkata for the first time!
SULK STATION’, Bangalore’s most prominent and talented Trip Hop Duo; whose music is an innovative template of ambient sounds and rhythms with compelling tunes, has quietly been making waves across the country and has emerged as a cutting edge musical production.
They are creating their own brand of lush, moody and hypnotic music set in a heavenly ambience. Their songs are a mix of contemporary electronic genres (trip-hop/ambient) with traces of Indian (Hindustani) classical music, rendered by Tanvi Rao’s sultry vocals, layered over Rahul Giri’s minimalist production. Their sound is unlike anything coming out of India.
“Till You Appear”, the duo’s debut LP (self-released in early 2012) earned them a slot at the World Event Young Artist festival held in Nottingham, UK. The duo is currently working on their second LP, and earlier this year traveled to London as part of an Indian showcase at Alchemy, South-bank Center’s annual festival and a show at Brighton’s renowned Great Escape Festival.

_RHL a.k.a Rahul Giri is an electronic music producer from Bangalore. One half of the downtempo/electronica act Sulk Station, Rahul has been an active instigator of the Bangalore alternative/electronica scene for almost a decade.
His rare uploads and pick as #1 Indian producer to watch out for in 2013 have cemented his uprising as the world waits with bated breath for his debut EP. Straddling hip-hop, electronica, footwork, drum and bass and anything in between there’s no limit to what a _RHL show can or cannot do.
